Greene Gators News
We are so excited to share the episodes of Greene Gators News, a student-produced news segment featuring some amazing MLL students at the William S. Greene Elementary School as reporters!
The project, led by 5th-grade MLL teacher, Mr. Ruben Nunez, started as a way for students to practice speaking—but it has become so much more! These young journalists are gaining confidence, building communication skills, and sharing important stories from their school community. Mr. Nunez credits the entire Greene staff for helping the students practice reading, making eye contact, and voice control.
Gators News even gives the students the chance to do some of the film work, editing, and production, exposing them to more hands-on experience in media creation.
A huge shoutout to all who made this happen - especially the students who worked so hard, including practicing at home.
